The inauguration of the Photovoltaic Parks of the company Akuo Energy, in the Krannona area of Larissa, built by SPYROPOULOS S.A., was held with great success, in the presence of the CEO of our company Mr. Spyropoulos Alexios and the General Manager Mr. Tomaras Konstantinou.
Specifically, the event of cutting the ribbon of the Photovoltaic Parks with a power of 4x1mw, took place on Friday, February 17, 2023, in the presence of Mr. Petros Varelidis, Secretary General of Natural Environment and Waters of the Ministry of the Interior, the Regional Governor of Thessaly, Mr. Kostas Agorastos, the Head of Regional Finance Department of the Embassy of France in Greece, Mr. François de Ricolfis, the President and co-founder of Akuo, Mr. Eric Scotto and the Managing Director of Akuo Energy Greece, Mr. Costas Andriosopoulos.
At the end of the inauguration, an open event followed, which included the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between Akuo Energy Company, the Region of Thessaly, the General Organization of Water Improvements (G.O.E.V. Thessaly) which represents over 50,000 farmers of region, as well as the Local Organization of Vessel Improvements of Piniou (T.O.E.V. Piniou) for the installation of PV parks in canals & reservoirs by Akuo Energy, which will bring significant benefits to the wider area of Thessaly. The signing of the Memorandum of Cooperation was completed at the new offices of the Region, in the presence of the Regional Governor of Thessaly, Mr. Agorastos.
