The event of the winners of the Health & Safety Awards 2021 took place on Thursday, May 20, at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center.
The aim of the Health & Safety Awards is to promote companies that create and maintain safe workplaces, develop a culture of preventive health and safety for employers and employees, and can serve as role models in their respective industries. The awards were organized for the 8th year by Boussias under the auspices of ELINYAE.
The Chairman of the Jury, Antonis Christodoulou, welcomed several of the winners and in his statement, among other things, stressed that “In the field of Occupational Health & Safety, the pandemic has been and is present in all discussions, work practices and assessment studies occupational risk. The possibility of offending employees or management and the consequences that will occur if this happens on a large scale in companies, can have serious consequences for the corporate operation, but also for the lives of the employees themselves. “Today, at the Health & Safety Awards 2021, companies are rewarded that do not punish but educate, do not impose but inspire, stand by and understand the needs and expectations of their employees, firmly on the path to sustainable development.”
SPYROPOULOS SA won the BRONZE award in the Covid -19 Prevention Action Plan category for the Integrated Coronavirus Plan.
The award was received on behalf of SPYROPOULOS SA Mr. Kremantalas Antonis Inspector General of Corporate Compliance & Quality Assurance and Ms. Kampanari Despina Head of Operation & Maintenance.
