According to a report by Aurora Energy Research, Europe has almost zero installed battery capacity but is forecast to install at least 95 gigawatts by 2050, compared with only 5 gigawatt currently.

Greece is one of the most attractive markets in Europe, along with Germany, Britain, Ireland and Italy, and has set an ambitious goal of reaching 6 gigawatts by 2030. However, only 14 of the 24 EU countries have a national battery strategy or targets.
