Sofia Arapogianni excelled in the Miss World pageant, held in Eilat, Israel, and left her mark on the top international beauty pageant, with Harnaaz Sandou of India as the winner.
The Greek beauty, who represented our country at Miss Universe from the national beauty pageants GS Hellas 2021, honored the colors of our blue and white flag during this whole trip and although she failed to place in the TOP 16 of the competition, she was one of participants who stole the show.
The president of the national beauty salons GS Hellas, George Kouvaris in a message on social media said he was proud of the shocking effort of our representative in the organization of Israel, emphasizing among other things that the best for Greece is ahead.

2021 ends with our country having sent representatives to all the top world beauty events, through the Institution of NATIONAL BEAUTY GS HELLAS.
At MISS UNIVERSE 2021, THE GS HELLAS ARTISTICS represented GREECE for the first time, after the right of representation changed after about 60 years.
As President of the largest national organization for GREECE, which is none other than GS HELLAS, I WANT TO EXPRESS THE FOLLOWING:

SOFIA ARAPOGIANNI honored the colors of our blue and white flag and gave her best, throughout this magical journey, with DIGNITY, with her beauty inside and out, as MISS UNIVERSE GREECE 2021.
It showed all over the world that GREECE is HERE and in the coming years it will star, carving the first steps itself, as the crown of GS HELLAS.
GREECE WAS THERE IN ISRAEL. It shone and most importantly faced all countries equally.
This year’s MISS UNIVERSE 2021 was unpredictable, but we keep only the positive sign and of course that all countries talked about our national costume, which broke away from stereotypes.
From now on I give you my word, that they will count us as a FORCE OF BEAUTY and I will be there until we crown our NEW MISS UNIVERSE, as was done with the KORINA TSOPEI from Mania.
We look forward to embracing our Wisdom and studying our next plans. Congratulations to the new MISS UNIVERSE 2021, from INDIA, worthy of the title, which in addition to its beauty impressed with its spirit and its answers had depth of thought.
